Organizers and appointment books are expensive and often full of excess materials that you simply do not need in a calendar book. Instead of buying a new calendar each year, use a computer and printer to make weekly calendars with all of your appointments neatly scheduled. Use page tabs or different colors of paper to separate the calendars week-to-week or month-to-month.
Double-click on the date to add appointments. A pop-up will appear that requests the meeting information. Fill in the form with the title, the location and the time of the appointment.
Click on "Week" from the menu bar at the top of the page. This will display a blank weekly calendar.
Load the printer with paper. Select "File" from the top menu bar, then click on "Print." Choose week from the print style options and select the beginning and ending dates of the week. Click "Next" to open more print options.
Open the Microsoft Works calendar program by clicking on "Start," "All Programs" and then "Microsoft Works." Select "Microsoft Calendar" from the options available.
Punch holes into the left side of the calendar pages and place them in a 3-ring binder for easy accessibility throughout the year.
Choose the printer you will use. Select the number of copies you need to print, then click "OK" to begin printing.
