Have you had your articles disappear like planes or boats in the Bermuda Triangle??? They just disappear. There are times to be hurt in life and times not to be hurt. There are times to be upset and times you shouldn't be upset. This is a time not to be hurt or upset!!!!! When you have an article deleted, it means you have not followed the eHow rules in some way. Read on and I'll detail it. Oh, by the way, I have had many deletions.
I have experienced all of this. Some of my articles have been deleted. But I jump right back in there, and it makes me aware of my writing. Did you know that this is a helpful thing eHow is doing for you? It is a way to make you more aware of your writing skills, to tweak them, and make them better and better!!! It hopefully has improved mine. Anyway, I am more aware of the way that I write articles and try to do it correctly!
Have fun writing, and forget it if you have deleted articles. Just jump right back on that horse and write some more, with more awareness!!!
Watch your spelling and grammar. This is awful sometimes when I read articles. You will use the spell check, but you have to go back and read the article after spell check, because you may have put a word in a spot that doesn't belong, and it can be spelled right, but the word doesn't belong where it is. That word isn't appropriate for the sentence. Or you put the wrong word to mean something else. It's easy to do. I read one where the article was about "cleaning". All over the article they had put 'clearing or clear' for "cleaning or clean". Yes clearing or clear is spelled right. They are English words, so spell check won't catch them for grammar. But it was put in the spot where "Cleaning or Clean" should have been. It's so easy to do these things when you're in a hurry. That's why taking your time and re-reading is so important, after spell check.
The deletions are to help eHow become "the quality" answer place on the internet. I do understand this. Sometimes we all can write sloppy. This is when we don't take our time, and try to slap an article in there in just a few minutes. Take your time, and make sure you actually match your title. I understand that part now. When I wrote about How to enjoy a trip to Australia, I didn't need to write about Australia, I needed to write about my trip getting there also. Watch how you word your titles.
