When you interact with others in your networking business, you must first understand and master Attraction Marketing. This is marketing, or networking with others, using the Law of Attraction. You also need to implement the concept of Demonstration of Higher Value and create balance in your relationships. What do these terms mean, and how do you do this?
Believe that you have something of value to share. Your personal value and worth starts between your ears. If you are still working on that belief, begin acting in a way that demonstrates your value. Share this valuable article with a colleague. Get his or her opinion on it. See in your mind and believe you hold value for others, and begin demonstrating the verbal and nonverbal cues that others will pick up. In time, it will become second nature to you. The vision you have will become aligned with reality.
Implement Demonstration of Higher Value into your interactions with others. Demonstration of Higher Value means that you have something to offer your prospects that they need. If they see you as holding value for them, they will be more likely to want to join your successful team.
Be yourself. Knowing you have value to offer is much different than arrogance. It is based on healthy and proper self-esteem. Don't try to impress others, and don't chase after prospects. This demonstrates lower value, exactly what you don't want. They need you more than you need them.
Understand what Attraction Marketing is. This is marketing, or networking with others, using the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction states that people naturally are attracted to those who they perceive as holding value for them.
Create relationships that have an element of balance to them. One person should not be more needy than the other, and both should bring value to the relationship. Learn how to develop relationships with those you can exchange value with; where it is mutually beneficial for you to associate with one another.
Learn to be unattached to a specific outcome in a relationship. The less attached emotionally you are, the more power you hold. No matter what happens throughout the day, it is just another day at the office. I know that sounds hard to believe, but the longer you are in the people business, you will learn to take the ups and downs as part of the normal course of business of prospecting, and you won't let your emotions be swayed too far one way or the other.
