It's always nice to get something for free. Unfortunately in today's tough economy you won't find too many places that give away free items. Retailers across the nation are fighting for every consumer dollar and although they often discount many products in their store, they never give them away for free, or do they?
Walgreens is one retailer that is actually offering sales each and every week featuring free items. When trying to buy free products at Walgreens there is always a catch such as buying something first and then getting the free product after. However, by using a little loophole you can get some of the products at Walgreens 100% free. Just follow these simple steps and you won't have to spend a dime to acquire free items at Walgreens.
Do not use or unwrap half of the items that you bought. Wait one week and go back to any Walgreens with 1 of each item you purchased the previous week.
Pick out the products that you like and purchase them. You can buy 2 identical products if you like or different products as long as they are on sale for buy 1 get 1 free. Make sure the products you bought are indeed on sale and you pay the specified price for these products.
Wait for the manager and tell them you would like to return some of the items you previously bought in the store. When the manager asks you for the receipt say you lost it and would just like to get store credit. The manager will then process your return and give you full price for each item in the form of store credit.
Use store credit to purchase anything at Walgreens with the exception of prescriptions, cigarettes and phone cards.

Walgreens receipts are awfully confusing and even managers can often make mistakes by misreading it. If the manager does notice that you purchased the items on sale and are returning only 1 of each item tell them that you forgot to bring the other items and go to another Walgreens to get store credit for these items.
