Professional eBay stores often stage their China so that they look especially good on eBay. Often they use mini photo studios or professional photographers. However, with a few simple household items and a camera, you can easily duplicate this look for your China, and possibly even increase the chances that your item can sell.
Use your camera's viewfinder to make sure the China is centered, and that it takes up the majority of the view. Take a picture of the China.
Set the China on top of the stand. Center the plate so that it is in the center of the white paper, but about six to 12 inches away, depending on the size of the white paper or board.
Turn the China and the stand around and repeat step 3, only this time you will be photographing the back of the china. If your china is a bown, or has wide sides, take pictures of the sides as well.
Set up a stage for the China. Place white foam board or construction paper behind a China stand
Create the auction for the China in eBay, and upload the pictures you have taken.
