Gmail中的语音聊天

Gmail给邮件服务带来了巨大的颠覆，不断推出的新功能让我们眼花缭乱。Gmail一直努力地与Gtalk进行整合，目前除了语音聊天以及在线的文件传输以外，Gmail已经可以完全替代Gtalk了。今天从 幻灭那看到Gmail已经增加了在线语音聊天的功能，赶忙去试用了一下，结果发现只是一个外壳而已。

如上图所示，在Gmail中会发现在线好友的功能栏中出现了Call这个按钮，点击以后发现聊天并不是在Gmail中进行，而是调用了已经登录的Gtalk的语音聊天窗口。为了进一步验证，我将Gtalk退出，再察看Gmail中已经没有了Call这个按钮，看来这只是在Gmail中添加了一个语音聊天的快捷方式，要真正的进行语音聊天，你还是需要安装Gtalk。

个人觉得要在Gmail中实现语音聊天在技术上可能还不够，就是能行的话那稳定性可能也还有待商榷，正如Gmail中加入聊天功能一样，这项服务目前其实还是很不稳定的，我的Gmail中一直是关闭这项功能了的，不然对Gmail使用的速度和稳定性有很大的影响。所以软件的Web化之路还是困难重重呀，理想中的 WebOS也还尚需时日……
