Blogging is great not only for the fresh information you provide for readers, but the number of resources you can send your readers to. Blogs are generally short thoughts or educational bits about any particular industry or subject. The nature of blog posts make readers want to
"click out" to get additional information. How can you increase these "click outs?" Follow these steps:
Make sure your "About me" page is filled out completely. Include your website addresses, an opt-in box to help build your customer database, FeedBlitz forms to get subscribers and all critical info about your education and credentials.
Put clickable links to your website or webstore at the bottom of the post with a clear call to action. While the reader is still engaged in the post, they may be inclined to click on the link to get more information.
Put good keywords in the titles of your blog posts that relate to your business. Keywords in the titles are how search engines will find the blog.
Embed videos into your posts instead of it being all text. Not only does this spruce up the post with a little excitement, you can build rapport easily with videos and there is a watermark you can place at the bottom with your web address.
Encourage comments on your blog and post comments on other people's blogs. This build trust and rapport with readers and encourages them to click out for additional resources.
