Are you on the Internet reading and accumulating information? Here is a way to save websites, marklets or "applets" to your brower's toolbar. Dragging applets to your web browser toolbar creates a spot for instantly going to that site to edit and add to twitter, your blog or eHow.
Delicious.
Good site to save your eHow articles off your computer. You will not use up all your storage by saving on Delicious.
BlogIt.
If you are reading something on the web and find it interesting to put on your Blog you can hit "BlogIt" and a window will open. This window will include an excerpt of the content. You will also have on here the ability to edit. Posterous and Tumblr are also spots to add an app.
Just go to these sites and sign up. Then add to your browser. It is easy and step by step on each site.
Read Later.
Just what it says. Go to Read Later and save a marklet on your browser toolbar. Instapaper is another app you can add to your iphone.
Bit.ly and Tiny Url.
To reduce the size of a URL use Tiny Url. Without having to always go to these sites you can paste the long website URL in this applet and hit submit. While you are on this site you will want to click the book marklet and once you do this you will be taken to the site with a shorter URL for you to copy.
Other Book Marklets-
To Doist - Link to Do's with web pages plus emails with Gmail.
Twurl works with twitter, tweetburn and Friendfeed.
Evernote - grabs all of a site and you can save for later. On Evernot you can search for anything you have saved.
SpringIt. SpringPad it dot com organizes bits and pieces you will find on the internet.
