CommunicationTube与之前介绍过的一系列在线IM客户端相比，显得非常的粗造，他没有漂亮的界面，也没有使用AJAX和JAVA技术，不提供注册，目前只支持ICQ、MSN和Gtalk三种IM软件。并且登录后的聊天界面也非常简单，只提供了文字聊天功能，其他比如像表情、字体设置等都没有，整个感觉非常原始。
