How it Works:
- Score Tracking: GolfBuddy's score tracking feature allows you to keep a record of up to 1,000 rounds of golf stored into your unit. In addition to keeping your score, it also stores information for the course you played on and the date you played. This feature comes in handy for keeping your handicap, as well as going back to track your scores on previous rounds that you played at a certain course on a specific day.
- Calculate Shot Distance: Knowing the actual distance that you hit with each club is critical to playing your best golf. I just read all of the reviews and in comparison all of the features of golf GPS's before choosing the Golf Buddy Professional. I especially loved the feature that the courses and course information were already loaded around the unit or readily available for free of the Golf Buddy website. Not to mention, that giant color screen. After I received the system, I immediately use it the charger as i examined the consumer Manual...it's pretty slim since the unit does most functions instantly. The following day I went golf. Within a few minutes, the system initallized and indicated I had been around the first hole of Highlands Reserve. The system advanced instantly hole by hole with no user input from me. The Gps navigation appears very accurate and also the screen is extremely vibrant in most lighting conditions. Used to do observe that in case your riding a trolley, it requires a couple of seconds for that unit to stablize after preventing before giving a precise distance. It has made my golf a lot more fun. There's nothing beats the arrogance in KNOWING which club to drag from the bag. You switch it on as you become your gear from your vehicle which could it be. It knows which course you are well on and provide you with the distance towards the first hole without having any more intervention. I simply clip it onto my bag and go. It's another feature which i may learn how to use with time, however the distance it things i really needed. Why pay an annual fee for other brands? Why be restricted to five courses saved at any given time? Even my local 9 hole course was pre-installed, obviously I checked in my favorite courses on the internet site first, these were all incorporated already.
