Whether you've just moved to a new neighborhood or you're simply looking to mail something after hours, finding a mail collection box when you need one can be frustrating and time consuming. The easiest way to avoid driving around in search of a mailbox is to go online.
Fill in as much of the "Near What Location?" section as you can. A city/state or ZIP code is required, but you'll get better results (especially in large cities) if you put in your exact street address.
In the "Click in box to select service" drop down menu, choose "Collection Boxes."
Hit "Search."
Go to the USPS Services Locator (see Resources below).
On the resulting page, click "Directions" under any listed collection box to get walking or driving directions from your present location to the selected collection box.
