Writing an email to a list of clients that you want to take advantage of your new products or services can be quite difficult. You just have sit down relax and follow a few simple rules in order to get the right message across.
Have A Great Offer:
Your new product or service is something your clients will surely want or need. So make it available to them with special introductory offer. You want the new product/service to take off properly, so make easily available. Don't try to negotiate offers on your first initial introduction of the product. This is done after a trial offer has been successful.
The Subject Line:
The subject line has to be able to grab the reader's attention. If you don't send your clients useless emails all the time they are more willing to open yours when you do, but you have to have the right subject line. If you have to personalize it to certain clients.
The Overall Picture:
Paint a pretty picture of how the client will cut cost, improve productivity, or generate sales. Hype the product/service in the details of your email. A properly detailed email will have the client crunching their own numbers and so show them in the email. Make the client out to be the hero, not yourself.
The List:
You have to know who is getting these emails and if they will be effective to them. You don't want to constantly bombard clients who have no use for your new product or service. Clients who get constant emails from the same providers are more likely to just delete and pay no attention to them after a while. Send them to clients who you see as having a need for them. So build your list accordingly.
Proper Links:
Make sure your email has all the proper links it needs to direct the client where you want them to go. Advise them of all the necessary steps to take advantage of your product/service. Be sure there are no complications in getting the clients directed to your site and trial runs should be done before you send out those marketing emails.
