Gleaning new-found knowledge, sharing a chuckle and shedding a tear are just a few of the share points that we, and our many eHow friends experience by connecting through our article postings. Keeping up with our eHow friends' newly published articles and reaching out with the 3 R's (Reading, Rating and Recommendations) can be time challenging.
You will find that the Subscribe feature is very easy to use and is one of the handiest tools at your disposal for saving time in keeping up with new articles written by your eHow friends. If you subscribe to your friends and they subscribe to you, you will not have to send notices to multiple eHow friends to let them know that you have a new article that you would like for them to read and rate. This mass-mailing practice is not only impersonal, but is also considered spamming within the eHow community.
You will receive daily emails from eHow with notices of newly published articles of friends that you have subscribed to. The email will have a link on it that will take you directly to that article so that you can read and rate it.
Clicking on Subscribe will let eHow know that you are requesting to receive updated e-mail notifications of that person's newly published articles. After clicking, the Subscribe button will change to Unsubscribe, of which you have the option to change the request at any time.
To find out if a friend has subscribed to you, go to their profile page. To the right of their avitar, you will find the Subscriptions tab on the end. When you click on this tab, you can see which members that person has subscribed to. Each subscribed member profile shows you how many articles and/or videos they have submitted, as well as how many members subscribe to their articles.
To find the orange 'Subscribe' icon, look on the member's public profile page. The subscribe button is located on the left-hand side below the avatar (visual identity picture).
Subscribing to the friends on your list and others that you want to follow will save you a tremendous amount of searching time. Watch your e-mails for updates and find comfort in knowing that you will not miss any new articles being written by your eHow friends. ** SEE IMPORTANT TIP BELOW
