Taking action toward something requires understanding. You must know what to do and be aware of the action needed to complete the task. If this process is this simple to explain, why is this process so difficult to implement? Taking action helps move us toward our goals. Taking action is movement in the direction of fulfilling an objective. Performance and behavior depend on knowledge through experiences, practices and learning. Awareness improves behavior. Why do so many individuals understand the requirements of many goals and objectives, yet take no action toward them? The collective thought process (thinking about the full requirement all at one time) can bring forth fear. Have you ever heard the old saying "How do you eat an elephant?" The answer is one bite at a time. That is true. Taking small steps toward achieving a goal is the best strategy. Let us call these steps "action steps". What action steps can we take daily to move toward goa l fulfillment?
Documentation
The third step is to document our imagination. Documentation is very important especially if we would like to share our understanding and plans with others. Spend time visualizing how things look and document the imagination because this becomes our plan of action. These are great steps and strategies to use to help change our understanding into action.
Visualization
The second step is to visualize. Vision is one of our richest sources of information that give us knowledge about the world. It provides details of the things around us. Visualization put the pictures in our minds that help us conceptualize the possibilities. What we see while we visualize appears real. These activities give our mind comfort in understanding how tasks look from beginning to completion. Deciding to change our understanding into action by using our imagination to create what we believe we want is essential.
Imagination
The first step is to use our imagination. Imagining how things could be takes away the perceived difficulty of the task. Imagination is our ability to create things that are not manifested externally in our lives. We have the ability to experience the impossible with our minds and this practice makes things appear possible.
