Purchase Avery business card paper. Purchase the correct style of paper for your printer. Most home printers are inkjet--meaning they use ink. Less common are laser printers, which use toner. The front of the package will specify the type of printer required.
Type in the text of your business card. Make sure to specify you are a Mark Kay seller. To do this, you can write out the words "Mary Kay" near the top of the business card, or in the center, as the main line. Or, for free, you can use a script font that is similar to the logo such as Lucida Calligraphy or Snell Roundhand. For your contact information, use a block font such as Arial or Helvetica.
Open the Avery template in Microsoft Word. Double-click the template, or click the file icon in Word, and open it as you would any other Word file. After that, open the business card picture in Word by clicking "Open" and clicking "OK" when you have the business card file highlighted.
