Use these easy tips to get more subscribers to your online newsletter.
Make sure to put a link in your e-mail signature that leads users to sign up for your online newsletter. If you don't know how to do this, e-mail your newsletter's help center and they'll send you the link to add to your signature.
As mentioned in step 1, make sure to share this link with friends, co-workers and constituents so they can put it in their e-mail signature as well.
Get online publicity by posting the fact that your newsletter is now available via the Web. Write a news release and e-mail it your local press contacts. Go to event pages (AmeriTowns, local radio stations, message boards, Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc.) and post a blurb about your newsletter hitting the Internet. Make sure to include a way for people to sign up on the spot!
Also make sure to post a link on your Web site for people to be sign up. This should be on every page. If that's not possible, make sure to put the sign-up link at least on your homepage and Contact Us page.
