There are three things each of your articles should include to have the greatest impact on your readers and on your advertisers.
Creativity! While the facts are important, it is a good idea to present the information in a manner that will hold the readers interest. Keep your article flowing by maintaining your reasoning connections. Make sure your sentences weave a fabric one connecting to the other. If your ideas to flow then you have probably skipped a sentence in between. Our brains are amazing and sometimes are typing fingers can't keep up. To avoid any gaps in an article, be sure to reread and rewrite.
Facts! An article without merit is a bunch of blah, blah without the wham! Research your subject, because a reader will know when you are winging it. Use relevant examples and stories that pertain specifically to the point you're trying to get across to the reader. When readers are looking for specific information about a subject they want to get to the nitty-gritty in the shortest amount of time possible. So get to the point!
Photos! A picture is worth a thousand words. Do a Google search for images and notice which photos grab your attention first. Nine times out of ten, you will click on the photo that you think will get you the best information. Say a surfer needs to find articles on information about chickens. Do you think they will click on the article with a picture of a chicken or on the article with a headline with the word chicken in it. Place photos throughout your article and your readers will go through the whole article. Advertisers are more likely to want their ad links embedded in or around your article if it is appealing.
